Sizing the Hexagon to match your fire pit
Choose a Hexagon DeckProtect as the best fit for a 3-legged fire pit.

IMPORTANT: In most cases, it is best to choose a DeckProtect size that is big enough for the feet of the fire pit to fit within the frame and rest on the basalt surface. In this illustration, example A shows a fire where the bottom of the fire bowl is as big as the top diameter. For this type of fire pit you will want to choose a DeckProtect that covers the width of the fire bowl. In example B, the bottom of the fire bowl is smaller than the top, and you only need a DeckProtect that is big enough to accommodate the feet.
Know the measurement of the feet of your fire pit… from the outside of one foot to the outside of the next foot. And allow an inch extra for safety.
